How do I book you? Is there a deposit?Simply fill out a booking form to get started! Here are the forms: Character Company Bookings Cosplay - Convention Bookings Cosplay - NonConvention Bookings I require a deposit of 50% of the total price at time of booking. This secures your time and date. Your shoot isn't booked until the deposit is paid! This is paid electronically via an electronic invoice that is sent after you fill out your booking request. You can pay with Paypal or any debit or credit card. The remaining balance is due the day of the shoot. This can be paid via your invoice, with a payment app such as cashapp or venmo or just cash. The deposit it refundable up until 72 hours before your shoot. See my cancellation policy in the next question for more details.

What is your cancellation policy? You can cancel or postpone your shoot anytime up until 72 hours before your shoot and your deposit will be refunded. After 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable but will be a credit toward a rescheduled shoot. A rescheduled shoot can be at a convention, on location, or in a studio (yours or mine). We don't need to pick a date at the time of rescheduling but it helps. No shows to shoots will not receive a refunded deposit or a credit toward a rescheduled shoot, so if you cannot make a shoot, just message me!

Do you have a studio? If so, where is it?"I have a small inhome studio in a spare room of my apartment. Nothing super fancy but it's good for simple shots of one or two people. If you'd like bigger studio space, I have a place I rent quite often for a very reasonable price. We can discuss options! My home studio is in the Jefferson Park area and the studio I rent is in Ravenswood. I can also come to you if you have a location or space in mind!

I feel like my cosplay's not that great. Should I even bother getting pictures of it?Did you put time, effort and love into it? Either making it or shopping for it? Do you feel amazing when you wear it? Do you feel like you are honoring the character and the source material by trying to recreate it? Then YES you absolutely should get pictures of it! "Great" cosplay doesn't mean everything is perfect. Great cosplay is all about whether or not you have fun wearing it. That's why it's cosPLAY! I know first hand, as a fellow cosplayer and princess performer, that sort of specialness that comes from wearing a costume and bringing a character to life. Your costume doesn't have to be screen accurate or expertly constructed or handmade at all to bring out those feelings in you. So you don that costume with pride my friend and I will work with you to take pictures of you in it that are as awesome as you are!
-
My cosplay is a super obscure fandom, is that ok?"Sure! I love discovering new fandoms! Even if it's not my personal cup of tea, I'll enjoy reseaching it and learning about it from you. If it's a character or world I don't know, we'll work together to make sure the persona still shines through in the pictures.
-
My cosplay is not elaborate or fancy, does it still count? (i.e. Disney bound or casual dress characters)"Sure! Cosplay is anything that you personally feel is related to the character. If it's just jeans and t-shirt but *you* feel it embodies a certain character, let's do it! Cosplay doesn't have to be big, elaborate armor builds, it can be picking out clothes from a thrift shop that your think your character would wear. All of it is creativity and all of it is what I want to capture!

My cosplay is weird/sexy/taboo/basic/controversial/shameful. Is that ok?Y'all I am probably one of the least judgemental and most open-minded people you will ever meet. I am very much of the "You do you" philiosphy. So as long as it's not hateful (racist, sexist, homophobic, actual real Nazi) I'm game. If you're worried, just ask me. I want you to be as comfortable as possible during the shoot so we can get the best pictures, so please know that I really won't judge.

Can you edit my pictures to make them more magical?I sure as sugar can! My specialty is changing backgrounds. So if you have a picture you took on the convention floor and want a new background for it, hit me up!

I'm not quite sure how to pose or what to do during a shoot to look good. Can you help?Oh absolutely! I have some generic tips and tricks I can share and will guide you through poses during the shoot. I like to set up a shared pinterest board too so we can share poses and pictures to work off of. Especially if there are specific images you'd like to recreate. I love recreating source images! And if you are a princess performer or cosplayer, darling I have you COVERED! I have all sorts of posing guides and tips; it's like second nature to me! I am willing to shared all the resources I have to make sure you look magical and amazing. (Free pro tip for action poses - bend your knees more than you think you should! Makes you look less stiff and more...action-y!)
